Program Description

This three-day training program is designed for teachers to develop professional teaching skills for school teachers. The program will provide the participants with the key issues to be good teachers capable of conduction of classroom lessons. This competency-based training course emphasizes the development of participants' teaching skills in using audiovisual aids and applying various teaching methods and techniques.

Course Duration 3 days (8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

Course Objectives

Participants who complete this course will be able to:

  1. Identify appropriate educational goals and behavioral objectives.
  2. Apply the various media choices for displaying data and enhancing the presentation.
  3. Use effective verbal and non-verbal techniques when making a presentation.
  4. Demonstrate skills in preparing and using audio-visual aids.
  5. Demonstrate skills in using various teaching methodology.
  6. Demonstrate ability to prepare and apply lesson plans in microteaching sessions.
Effective Presentation skills

Program Description

In this one-day workshop for teachers, participants will master the various techniques that make up effective presentations, including brainstorming and organizing ideas, tailoring content to an audience, designing powerful visual aids, planning for adequate facilities, and stimulating audience interest.

Course Duration 1 day (8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

Course Objectives

Participants who complete this course will be able to:

  1. Plan their presentation by gathering relevant information, determine audience needs, and define presentation purpose.
  2. Develop the introduction and conclusion of the presentation.
  3. Identify the benefits and uses of visual aids.

Interpersonal Communication Skills

Program Description

This one-day training program is designed for teachers to build up skills in the area of interpersonal communication. The program will provide the participants with the key issues to be capable of conduction of counseling sessions. This competency-based training course emphasizes the development of participants' skills in using verbal and non-verbal communication in applying proper counseling techniques. It is a participatory training course utilizes a variety of interactive teaching techniques which encourage group dynamics.

Course Objectives

Participants who complete this course will be able to:

  1. Define basic elements and kinds of interpersonal communication.
  2. Demonstrate effective listening skills.

Team Building & Leadership

Program Description

This one-day training workshop is designed for senior teachers to enhance the performance and commitment of employees. Successful managers should have the skills that enable them to build teams, delegate authority to lower levels to have a better quality of decision making, and facilitate better communication between different managerial levels.

  2. Reviewing past key events, accomplishments, and desired future goals as indicators of their priorities.

Conflict Resolution

Program Description

The conflict management workshop is designed for teachers as a one-day training activity. Participants explore the nature of conflict, as well as its causes and driving forces. They then focus on exploring various styles and strategies to manage conflict constructively. Finally, they will bring an organizational focus to their exploration of conflict, by implementing a conflict management strategy based on the acquired skills.

Strategic Management Skills (SMS)

Program Description

This two-day training program is designed for senior teachers and directors in the area of strategic management skills. The program will provide the participants with the key issues for identifying their values, vision and mission and explore the benefits of developing strategic thinking in responding to a changing environment. This competency-based training course emphasizes the development of participant's skills in assessing the internal and external environments, and develops strategic plans.

Course Duration 2 days (8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

  1. Define the strategic management process and corporate mission.
  2. Identify the role of successful manger.
  3. List the different management functions.
  4. Explain designing organizational structure and different methods of departmentalization.
  5. Identify the situational leadership styles. 
  6. Establish an effective control system for the organization.
  7. Differentiate between licensure and accreditation.
  8. Develop a model organizational action plan.
Training of Trainers (TOT)

Program Description

This five-day training of trainers program is designed for senior teachers to develop core trainers in the area of training skills. The program provides the participants with the key issues to be good trainer capable of conduction of training sessions. It is a participatory training course utilizes a variety of interactive teaching techniques which encourage group dynamics.

Course Duration 5 days (8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

Course Objectives

Participants who complete this course will be able to:

  1. Identify the principles of adult learning.
  2. Explain the basic elements of training system.
  3. Discuss the methods of training needs assessments.
