Today, students are the main focus of the learning process. Indeed, the learning vehicle is directed by their professional teachers who strive to meet the needs of the rapidly global changes in the field of education.

Similar to practitioners in other professions, teachers need to deepen their knowledge and improve their skills over the course of their careers to meet wider range of needs.
This document titled «Professional development program» goes beyond the term training , as it focuses on implications of learning skills, moreover, it encompasses programs that includes formal and informal venues, to help and support teachers to advance their knowledge and skills. The programs are designed to assure that teachers will acquire not only new skills on the classroom level but explore new and advanced understandings of quality assurance and management.

Certainly, teacher professional development is a vital tool for improving student learning. We hope this publication will bring this important issue to the attention of everyone who cares about quality education.

Masters Degree
June 2012

ESI in cooperation with the American international College offer a chance for educators and administrators all over Egypt who would like to improve their skills and increase their knowledge to earn Master's Degree in International Education.
The degree is offered by the American International College AIC, and is presented here in Egypt through ESI.

The Master of International Education (MEIE) is designed for the individual who posses an earned baccalaureate degree, and who desires a degree with breadth. However, one elective specialist course is required depending on individual interest. The MEIE Degree is a recognized credential for teachers.

Dining Safety Policies & Procedures

ESI believes that the physical and mental health, safety and wellbeing of students is considered one of the pillars on which the success of the educational system is built upon; therefore ESI has set policies for the dining facilities and the school cafeteria of each and every school campus.
These policies are set to be implemented by students, parents, staff members and everyone involved in the educational operation with the purpose of raising healthier generations and minimizing the risks of chronic diseases and foodborne illness; In other words creating a safer and healthier school environment for our children.

Footsteps for Project Based Learning
July 2014

This booklet is designed to introduce participants with the principles of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and strategies for implementing PBL projects in their classrooms.

Participants will be familiarized with the concept of PBL and its learning implications in preparing students to become 21st century citizens.

Moreover, participants will gain hands-on experience developing collaborative, inquiry-based projects that support their curricular goals.

Participants will learn to blend PBL and standards-based design strategies to create curriculum units that enhance student learning.
